Welcome to Isabella Walton Child Care Centre
What makes IWCC Unique?
Welcome
Isabella Walton Childcare Centre Inc. is a non-profit childcare centre, governed by a voluntary board of directors comprised of parents and members from the community. The centre is licensed by the Ministry of Education (Early Years) and has a Purchase of Service Agreement with Toronto Children’s Services.
IWCC has opted in for the Canada Wide Early Learning Child Care (CWELCC) initiative. The CWELCC agreement with the Government of Canada supports a fee reduction for families and provides affordability to high quality early learning care.
We are conveniently located at the southeast corner of Birchmount Road and Eglinton Avenue and are open Monday to Friday from 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. We are closed on all statutory holidays and on Easter Monday.
Our centre is licensed for 10 infants, 10 toddlers and 32 preschoolers.

Waiting List
We currently have a one to two year waiting list with no guarantee for spaces. We recommend parents put their names on the waiting list as soon as possible and contact the centre every six months to update their information.
Prior to Enrolment
All registration forms must be filled out completely before your child can start at IWCC. This includes a medical and up to date immunizations. The first two weeks fees are required on acceptance of the spot.
It is recommended that children are eased into the program on a gradual basis. Parents are encouraged to leave their child for a short period of time on the first day and gradually increase the length of time as your child gets used to the program, staff and the children. Your child will make the transition easier if he or she is eased into the program.

Withdrawal Notice
Written notice of withdrawal must be given two weeks in advance, or in lieu of notice, two week's fees. If policies are not followed or fees not paid, childcare services may be withdrawn.
